Small Homage to the Talking Heads’ song

This table is based on a huge flower collage I made over the winter. Sometimes cutting vintage flower photos with my mom while she healed from knee surgery….Most of the flower images are photographed snippets of vintage homemaker magazines in the library archives. Like much of my work it is about comfort, finding a place for yourself; there is a very small house hidden in the garden.

I converted the collage to laminate sheet and made this wild woman of a table. It has a sister table also with a laminate top.
