Long Time Forgotten

These are work that I have not made in a long time. I happened to have found the pictures randomly. Good memories of creating. This first set of tables was created with a stoneware, terra cotta, or Corian.

I have recently rebuilt some of the terra cotta version and maybe they will get their own page someday.

The two colorful tables were shown at the London Design Festival. They are wood and laminate. I didn’t go further because I did not want to use plastics anymore. I am still looking for a reasonable sustainable replacement. I designed one from watercolors I made based on Gaudi stained glass mixed with a folk rug hanging on Walter Gropius’s wall. The other is from my flower collage.

A shelf and backsplash I made was also laminate with a scribble I made based on concrete architectural blocks. Mixed with Gaudi :)

Here is some ceramic installation work I did. One is about hating to talk/write about my work ;) and the other is about allowing myself to be freer. It was called ‘Go Ahead, Wear the Party Dress’. I still have both projects randomly in my house!

Then we have some lamps I used to make out of wool and some out of coconut fibers. My roots were in fully natural materials and I am happy to be returning there.
